I don't talk much about my private life on this blog (or use twitter for that matter), but I will talk about this. I graduated last Sunday, the 19th from Pomona College with a B.A. in neuroscience. As you can imagine, the past few weeks have been a bit of a whirlwind, and I'm still trying to catch up. I've been a bit remiss about visiting other blogs and reading review copies and making sure my posts are scheduled, etc. etc. And this post is to say: I'm coming back ;). Expect reviews soon on Another Little Piece by Kate Karyus Quinn, Charm & Strange by Stephanie Kuehn, Ink by Amanda Sun, and Spirit by Brigid Kemmerer (well, more like the entire Elementals series thus far) plus other review copies/books I was fortunate enough to receive via a giveaway from the Midnight Garden.... PLUS visits from me!
Have a great day :)
How awesome! Congratulations! :D I'm always fascinated by these scientific studies, since I'm doing one as well. What are your plans now? And I'm looking forward to your review on Another little piece!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations College Grad! That is amazing, and something that I hope you are incredibly proud of yourself for. A huge accomplishment, especially in the field of neuroscience! I am a little awed! :) Glad that you are coming back. Definitely looking forward to your review of Another Little Piece. It is one of my most anticipated reads!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! We learned some minor brain related stuff in my Intro to Psych course last week and I am only now realizing the brain is really freaken cool.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back!
Congratulations! =D
ReplyDeleteThank you :)!
ReplyDeleteThanks :) & psych classes are also really cool. Loved the diff perspective on the brain.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!! And Another Little Piece is proving to be really creepy & good so far. :)
ReplyDeleteMy plans are to research in a lab for the next 1-3 years before applying to graduate school in neuroscience or psychology, I think. It depends on how the research goes. When do you finish your studies?
ReplyDeleteBig congrats! I graduated on the 12th, so I feel your pain! I love the field you targeted, and I hope you find something soon!
ReplyDeleteWelcome! I am looking soooo forward to that book. I love scary, spooky stories. Sounds like that one is right up my alley!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! I'm going into my senior year of college this fall, hopefully to graduate in May (or else next December). It's so scary thinking about really going out into the real world after this. Wishing you all the best moving forward :D
ReplyDeleteThank you!! The same to you as well then, fellow graduate. Congratulations :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! It is kind of scary, but also exciting in its own right. And now I shall issue you with preemptive congratulations for your near-future graduation :)
ReplyDeleteThat is great! :) I will start my third year after my summer vacation. I have my last exams from this month and then I'm good to go. So two more years and I'm done.
