Bookshelf Tour!

Have you ever been curious about what's on my bookshelf? Do we share any books in common? (You want to read any of these with me?).

Sorry for the bad lighting :(.

7.) A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness
8.) This Is What Happy Looks Like by Jennifer Smith
9.) The Retribution of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
10.) The Darkest Minds trilogy by Alexandra Bracken
11.) A Darkness Strange and Lovely by Susan Dennard
12.) Midwinterblood by Marcus Sedgwick

14.) Brown Girl Dreaming by Jacqueline Woodson

++ other nonfiction and occasionally adult fiction (The Book of Life by Deborah Harkness; The Magician's Land by Lev Grossman; The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August by Claire North).

About half of these I bought since moving to NJ; the rest I brought from home. What's on your bookshelf? Do we share any books in common?

  2. :D :D thanks, Jasprit. I am really happy to have these books and am looking forward to reading them. If you're in the mood for a read along, we could read Mortal Heart together? And perchance I'll catch up in the Darkest Minds too...

  4. I've had Roomies forever and I still haven't read it. I need to read it soon!

This is What Happy Looks Like is cute. I wish there had been more e-mail exchanges, to be honest. I actually liked The Geography of You and Me better. Have you read that one yet?

The Retribution of Mara Dyer…I read it the first day it came out, I just couldn't wait. Can't wait to hear what you think…I've been participating on different discussions on Goodreads with people who have read it because it's just one of those books that you have to talk about.

    The Darkest Minds series…LOVED it.

You have so many great books on your bookshelf! ~Pam

  5. If you want a reading buddy for Roomies, let me know!

I haven't read The Geography of You and Me yet! I think the two friends who recommended me This Is What Happy Looks Like might have said something similar though? We'll see...

Ha, I wanted to read it! I don't remember what was happening that day, but I had to put Mara Dyer 3 to the side.... but I'm really looking forward to reading it. I've heard it's really bloody and some people feel it's different from the others - I can see why you'd go to the discussion boards on GR if so.

:) thanks, Pam! Now here's to reading all those books on my bookshelf!
