Fall of Night (Morganville Vampires #14) by Rachel Caine
Thanks to its unique combination of human and vampire residents, Morganville, Texas, is a small college town with big-time problems. When student Claire Danvers gets the chance to experience life on the outside, she takes it. But Morganville isn’t the only town with vampire trouble...
Claire never thought she’d leave Morganville, but when she gets accepted into the graduate program at MIT, she can’t pass up the opportunity. Saying good-bye to her friends is bittersweet, especially since things are still raw and unsettled between Claire and her boyfriend, Shane.
Her new life at MIT is scary and exciting, but Morganville is never really far from Claire’s mind. Enrolled in a special advanced study program with Professor Irene Anderson, a former Morganville native, Claire is able to work on her machine, which is designed to cancel the mental abilities of vampires.
But when she begins testing her machine on live subjects, things quickly spiral out of control, and Claire starts to wonder whether leaving Morganville was the last mistake she’ll ever make...
Penguin has kindly been sending me hardcovers of this series (#12-14s)... but I have not had and will not have the time to read these books. Unfortunately, I already gave away #s 12 & 13, BUT I do have a hardcover of #14 up to whoever wants it!
International as always.

One of my all time favourite series, can't wait for this one!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
ReplyDeleteI'm so looking forward to this book! I can't wait to see what problems Claire has to face outside of Morganville! Plus, I'm eager to see how Shane tries to get back together with Claire <3
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great giveaway! I haven't read this series yet but my friend has lend me the first 3 omnibus versions :) Can't wait to get started!
ReplyDeleteWell I haven't actually read books 12 and 13 but I love the Morganville Vampires so I'm going to read them very soon. I don't know what I want to happen in book 14 but I'm sure I'm going to love it, whatever it is, I always do. Thanks for the great giveaway and for making it international!
ReplyDeleteI haven't yet read half the series yet, as I just started reading it last month (and already at book 7 :> Took a break to get to some other books I needed to get to), but I love it and I've even bought book 12 SIGNED, even though I still haven't gotten the rest! :D Anyway, I really want to have the whole series and read it. I have no idea what might happen in book 14, but I'm sure it's going to have a lot of action, sweetness, creepiness, evil guys and evil schemes! D:
ReplyDeleteThank you for this amazing giveaway!!
Plus - as Martina said, I wish Penguin sent me book, too xD
Love the Morganville series, looking forward to their new adventures (:
ReplyDeletei like the cover so much..very pretty :)
ReplyDeleteand also i like books about vampires...
I have heard a lot about the Morgan Ville vampires series. I've read quotes and blurbs of many books and found them hilarious. So, I want to get started on the series asap :)
ReplyDeleteYay! I hope you enjoy the books as much as the quotes & blurbs :)
ReplyDeletethe model and font treatments are very pretty :).
ReplyDeleteyes... if I had the time, I would read them... but since I don't, I'm giving them away (if more come) to fans like you who will read and enjoy. And yay!!! I hope you enjoy 12 & 13!
ReplyDeleteawesome. sounds like the series is super addictive. I love it when I get that feeling from a book. Action, sweetness, and evil schemes sounds like loads of fun :)
ReplyDeleteyay!! hope you enjoy them :)
ReplyDeleteyay! hope you enjoy reading about the new adventures!
ReplyDeleteoooh, you've made me curious now... :)
ReplyDeletehope you enjoy reading about Shane/Claire and Claire's adventures!
trouble always follows the heroines.... ;) hope you enjoy reading!
ReplyDeleteThis series is way addictive. I read it for a week straight without even stopping to write reviews... couldn't put them down :)
ReplyDeleteIt is loads of fun! :D Too bad you have no time for these books :O
I'm intrigued about the idea of humans and vampires living together.
ReplyDeleteI've read all the Morganville books up to Bitter Blood! It'll be awesome to see how Claire and Shane handle her being at MIT!
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Leanne
I've read all of the books but the last one. I am excited to see where the story goes. There is always something exciting happening in Morganville!
ReplyDeleteI Want to see Claire without Shane for a bit because he really dissapointed me in the last book but I still love him.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for this latest installment that finally takes place away from Morganville and for Claire to get some development away from the other characters. Shane has really been bugging since his POV was introduced in Book 10 but I still love the others. Myrin I can't wait to read what's going on with him and his Vampire Bunny Slippers!! After this book there will only be one more and the series is over. Kinda sad to see it go :(
ReplyDeleteYeah. Tension and conflict just in the idea of it....
ReplyDeleteYay!! I hope you enjoy the book! (And as a side note, though I haven't read these books, I've got to say, I'm super pleased the protagonist is at MIT. Go female engineers!)
ReplyDeleteYeah... sometimes it is really refreshing to see the protagonist without the love interest for a while.
ReplyDeleteyay!!! Hope you can catch up before this one is released :)
ReplyDeleteVampire Bunny Slippers? lol whut? Hahaha. I'm sorry to hear that there's only one book left! But hey, 15 is good for rereading marathon-style.
ReplyDeleteI can't say what I want to see happen since I am only on book 6 in this series. I love the characters and the setting, a vampire owned town. This is a great series so far and is still holding my interest. After this many books, some series grow stale or the characters loose their appeal but not this one. I try to remember to give it some pr when I blog hop.
ReplyDeleteI read the first...11 Morganville books but haven't read the more recent ones yet, so I'm not entering this giveaway. But how generous of you to give yours away! Good luck to everyone who enters. :)
ReplyDeleteWendy @ The Midnight Garden
Thanks, Wendy! Sounds like this really is a series that I should get on... hopefully you'll get to read the other books soon!
ReplyDeletethe relationship of couples who are been gathering in along series .. i love romance ... is the best part of me about the book
ReplyDeleteI'm curious to see Claire actually leave Morganville. I have no doubt trouble will follow and some how bring her back but it it should be interesting to see how the town reacts while she is gone now that they have grown used to her.
ReplyDeleteI love romance too. I hope you enjoy reading about what comes next for the characters :)
ReplyDeletesounds like Morganville is its own trap :O... hope you enjoy the book!!
ReplyDeleteI'm incredibly excited to read it because Claire is leaving Morganville! With the events that happened at the end of the previous book, I have no idea where this is going!
ReplyDeleteThe MV series wasn't one that grabbed me from the beginning. The first few books were just okay (for me, and I really hated the cliffhangers btw) and it was the 6th book that turned me into a fan.
True, true. I don't think I've actually followed a series longer than 7 books, with Harry Potter, but it's awesome that you still give it PR and enjoy it :)
