So:
1. Paperback of Graceling by Kristin Cashore
I have an extra of this book because I thought my friend had lost mine, and I had somehow won a giveaway for another. Well, no need for two for me. Here's your chance to finally experience the awesomeness that is Kristin Cashore! If you closely follow this blog, you know that I LOVE her writing and work and consider her books among those which define me as a YA reader. (Fire, in my opinion, is the best of the three Graceling Realm books.)
*If you want to win this book, comment on this post telling me why you want to read Graceling.
2. Paperback of Prophecy of the Sisters, Hardback of Guardian of the Gate, and Hardback of Circle of Fire by Michelle Zink

- My Review | Stephanie Sinclair's 4 Star Review | Blythe's 4 Star Review | Kat Kennedy's 1 Star Review | Christina (A Reader of Fictions)'s 1 Star Review - I'd say my review is the middle ground here, as I neither lovedlovedloved Crewel nor particularly disliked it.

Sorry for all the detours, but 1.) they'll let me choose the winners later in a much easier way and 2.) they're doing their job of highlighting those posts from the authors in question. I'll pick a winner from each comments section in two weeks, so let's say the giveaway ends August 15, 2013.
Ooh what a great selection of books, and I like that you don't just use a Rafflecopter giveaway. Make people earn their wins! Muhahaha! The only one I own is Crewel, and I haven't gotten around to reading it yet. (I'm hoping for the best when I do though!)
ReplyDeleteBUT, I haven't read Graceling. Why do I want to read it? Well, for starters, if it means that much to you then I feel like I HAVE to read it. I like books that are powerful enough to affect their readers. Plus, once I'm done reading Siege and Storm what are we going to talk about? We need more books to discuss!
Really though, I have read anything by Cashore and I feel like that needs fixing, and it seems everyone and their mom has read Graceling. I need to get in on the mix, especially because I love fantasy and kickass heroines. So pick me pick me! ;)
Graceling has been on my wishlist like, FOREVER, because I've heard so many great things about it. I LOVE LOVE LOVE fantasy (Shadow and Bone, HELLO) and many have recommended this one to me. I think it might have been the size of the book that made me refrain from borrowing it from the library, but I'd love to finally dig into this one :) Thanks for the amazing giveaway! (I don't know if your giveaways are INT or US only– hoping they're INT, but if not, I'll see if I can get a US address :) )
ReplyDeleteTo those asking -- yes, giveaway is INT :).
ReplyDeleteI love the style of this giveaway! I'm not entering as I already own all of these. Sadly, I have the entire Prophecy of the Sisters series sitting unread on my shelf. I blame it on Borders going out of business. o_O
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jen! Yeaahhh.... I went to those Borders sales at the end, but it seemed like everything I had actually wanted had been taken early on. Hopefully you'll get to read the PotS series soon-ish :).
ReplyDeleteI have heard such great things about Graceling, but I haven't been able to read it yet. I would love to win.
